Initially trained as a Theatrical Lighting Designer and Stage Manager at Central School of Speech and Drama, Flick has over a decades experience lighting theatre, dance and opera before deciding to complete the MSc Light and Lighting at the Bartlett, UCL.
After graduating Flick spent 5 years lighting the most revered Museums and Galleries for dha designs, including the V&A’s extensive Medieval and Renaissance Galleries, The Mary Rose Museum and Royal Museum of Scotland, Edinburgh.
Flick spent 3 years as Senior Lighting Designer at Isometrix. Projects completed included retail, restaurant, business, hospitality and the very highest end residential projects, including integration of extensive Art collections and unique Art installations e.g. James Turrell.
Flick’s design philosophy is to ensure that lighting always tells another layer of the story. Her eye for detail, tenacity for the correct products for the task and meticulous process, ensure clients receive a truly rounded service.
