After studying interior design at Edinburgh College of Art, David was drawn to the transformative impact that lighting design has on environments and how people experience them.

With over 15 years of experience David has worked on award winning and Michelin starred bar and restaurant projects across Europe. David is a firm believer that strong conceptual thinking forms the backbone of a clear and effective lighting strategy. This philosophy drives his collaborative approach, working closely with architects, interior designers, and clients from the earliest stages of a project to ensure the lighting seamlessly supports and enhances the overall vision

Keen to understand the impact of lighting design on human behaviour and wellbeing David has held TED talks to promote healthier, human-centric lighting schemes and educate designers on the importance of careful product specification.
