David Collins Studio renovates this legendary 1920's historic venue in Monte Carlo.

This simple but classic and iconic bar in the heart of Monte Carlo has been given a complete new look by David Collins Studio. The brief was to preserve the character and unique ambiance of this historic venue; existing furniture dating back to the early XX Century was retained, for example.

Other details such as fabrics and the iconic bar were given a new fresher look and lighting contributed significantly. The very warm glow of the new decorative lighting elements provides the majority of the ambient lighting, while discreet accents were introduced to reveal the new curtains and impeccable finishes that David Collins carefully selected for the interior.

The battery operated lamps also contribute to the success of the lighting installation. There are no accents to the table and these move constantly, so it was essential to introduce a collection of lamps with a classic and timeless look, which provides a soft and warm glow to the guests during the bar opening times - day and after dark.
