This dazzling hotel in the heart of Asbury Park belongs to a constellation of projects developed by iStar Financial. Jay Sugarman's vision to regenerate the area and bring the first luxury hotel has become true with Ocean Club.

Anda Andrei orchestrated the design of this project, with Bonetti-Kozerski as lead interior designer for the hotel and Handel Architects responsible for the condominium component of this venture. The result is a serene yet elegant place to rest, where breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean can be enjoyed from the pool deck and selected rooms.

Lighting had to respond to the aspirations of the hotel and condo tower, where minimal design called for subtle lighting discreetly integrated into the architecture and interior decor. The entire installation is comprised of LED lighting technology, including the decorative elements. This ensures minimum maintenance and maximum energy efficiency.

Light IQ worked closely with the local team and WALD Studio in New York, in order to achieve a seamless implementation of the lighting design concepts by the local teams.

The lighting scope included feature lighting to the tower, which is expressed as a series of individually addressable lighting nodes that can create various dynamic scenes that respond to national holidays or special celebrations.
